Art - Illustrators - Marina Marcolin

Marcolin Marina was born in Vicenza in 1975. For several years he worked as an illustrator for Italian and foreign publishing houses, including Edizioni EL (Trieste), Lapis Edizioni (Rome), Kite Editions (Padova), National Academy Santa Cecilia (Rome), Patakis Publisher (Athens), La Joie de Lire (Geneva), Black Cat-Cideb (Genoa-Canterbury), Anaya Infantil y Juvenil (Madrid), Grimm Press (Taiwan). His illustrations have been exhibited in Italy and abroad, has received awards and competitions in drawing, and in 2006 received an important award as best foreign illustrator from the Greek Ministry of Culture. The last published book "Jordan Headlight" won the Premio Emanuele Luzzati Giant Award for illustration of the Langhe, 2009. He teaches watercolor and drawing at the Cultural Association "Obsidian" in Vicenza. He lives in Arcugnano (Vicenza), between a lake and woods.
